The Opal Mini series are small Jewel Lamps designed to fit over an electric candle. They bring a soft, warm, flickering glow to your room, and are available in a variety of heights, wood tones, and patterns.

Beautiful in their own right as small sculptures, the real magic happens when the lamps are turned on. The light fills the inset washi paper in each face with a golden glow, instantly creating a soothing, meditative ambiance in any room.

Product Details

Opal Mini Short features the faceted Jewel Lamp design with one end truncated so that it can rest directly on your table top on felt-bottomed feet.

Each lamp is hand-made to order, using plywood with a basswood core and surface veneer of natural maple, cherry, or walnut, as well as genuine Japanese washi paper made from mulberry silk. (This is the same paper that is used to fashion traditional shoji screens found in Japanese architecture.)

Your lamp will ship complete with an electric candle and included CR2032 battery. Just turn on the candle, place the lamp over it, and enjoy! Conveniently, the candle turns itself off after 6 hours of run time to conserve the battery.

Wood and Pattern Options

The included product photos show several combinations of wood color and pattern, as well as photos showing the complete range of available patterns. For patterns other than plain, the selected pattern is included on all four side panels of the lamp, making it visible in every direction.

The angles of the Opal Mini lamps are carefully designed to accommodate geometric patterns with particular symmetries:

• Opal Mini Short: 8-fold symmetry
• Opal Mini Medium: 10-fold symmetry
• Opal Medium Tall: 6- and 12-fold symmetry

So if you want a geometric pattern but don't like the ones available on this model, check out the others!

The chakra symbols are the same on all three models.
